An enthusiast of artificial intelligence and experienced IT manager. He wrote his first games in mid 1980s on his ZX Spectrum microcomputer. A player of bridge, go, tabletop roleplaying games, logic games and board games, as well as some video games. Former president of the Polish Go Association and a university teacher.
Jacek studied Computer Science and Psychology at the University of Warsaw and Software Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. He has practice in heuristic tree searching and pathfinding (logic games), neural networks (handwritten character recognition), genetic algorithms and expert systems. Jacek has twenty years of experience in managing development, implementation and support of workflow systems. He worked as an IT system architect, data scientist, business analyst, project manager and project supervisor. Various roles in IT projects for well-known organizations. A Project Manager – Supreme Court of the Republic of Poland (SN), LOT Polish Airlines (PLL LOT), PTC (Era GSM), Polkomtel (Plus GSM), Agora, Netia, Getronics (former Olivetti). In his spare time Jacek enjoys travel, horse riding, sailing and hacking.
