The follower of MacGyver and Adam Słodowy - practical, pragmatic and always equipped with a pocket knife. Sarcasm-oriented engineer with a pint of scientist, philosopher and a cook. Deep Learning enthusiast, strong-AI believer, also a lesser linux magician, Python programmer, IoT specialist and embedded systems engineer. In academic life focused on deep reinforcement learning and embodied AI. The list of other interests includes, but is not limited to: astronomy, cognitive science, robotics, jujutsu, hiking, hardware hacking, teaching.

Tomasz received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the University of Warsaw. Since 2010 he has participated in several R&D projects related to the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence. He worked in 7FP EU projects aimed at developing advanced software platforms for Intelligent Buildings and Offices, then moved to a startup where he was designing electronic prototypes for sensor networks as well as radar-based sensor systems. Starting from 2015 Tomasz engaged in researching Deep Learning methods. He participated in a few projects at the University of Warsaw related to perception based computing and using AI for improving traffic management in Poland.

In 2017 Tomasz started cooperating with QED Software, where he applied Machine Learning methods for problems such as improving agents in video games or recognizing behaviours of players. Since then Tomasz has been leading several R&D projects in QED Software.

Tomasz is an author and co-author of 15+ publications related to the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence. Privately he is married and has two cats.
